CORPORATE LOOK CASE STUDY
The Situation
For the Information Online Conference (
www.information-online.com.au
) at Darling Harbour, organising committee members wanted to create a corporate image to ensure the 1,000 delegates from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific could easily identify them.
The brief
To develop a consistent ‘look’ for the 12 organisers that was “smart, easy care, and visible”.
The challenges
The corporate image needed to work for 12 committee members, including men and women who ranged in size from 8 to 18. Several committee members lived interstate. The corporate image would need to work for individuals were diverse in both colouring and style.
The process
Vivienne Cable, from Image by Design, met with everyone before establishing the corporate look.
• Two colours from the conference brochure were selected as the cornerstone of the uniform.
• Coloured jackets teamed with navy skirt or trousers - all the right proportions for each individual body shape.
• The men wore matching shirts and dark trousers.
• Guidance and suggestions for hair, make-up and shoes were provided.
• Committee members who lived interstate sent Image by Design their photographs and measurements. And, on the day everything fitted.
The results were fantastic
“We all looked and felt great and received many compliments. Delegates knew who to approach if they had a question. Best of all, it removed the dilemma of what to wear each day, especially when we had to front up for an early breakfast."
