Sylvia has a wealth of retail knowledge having trained in fashion design pattern cutting manufacture interior design

She worked in a large fashion retail clothing chain in South Africa with over 96 stores for 16 years;

• co-ordinating window displays
• setting up in-store visual merchandising
• merchandising costume jewellery
• managing inventory and stock control
• training staff

Sylvia travelled to all the major centres in South Africa ensuring group merchandising principles were being applied.  

When her creative side beckoned she qualified in Interior Decorating and started her own business specialising in paint techniques and soft furnishings. 

In 2000 Sylvia and her family emigrated to Australia.  She has 2 children and is a proud grandmother to Lily.  Their latest addition to the family is Asia, a Bengal kitten.  Sylvia and her husband are keen motorbike enthusiasts.
